24x18 inch original mixed media painting

This painting reminds me of a beautiful overlook that we used to go to when we lived in Boulder, CO. The winding road up to it was always exciting - trying to go slowly to appreciate the wildlife and flowers and being very aware of the cyclists zooming down the side of the mountain. And then the view across the mountain tops when we arrived was extraordinary! You could look out over Boulder in one direction and over the mountains in the other directions. Sometimes you even got lucky and caught a rainbow spreading across the sky.

“Rocky Overlook” is a beautifully layered original acrylic/mixed media painting. It was created on a 24x18 inch gallery wrapped canvas that is 1.5 inches deep. The painting is carried around the edges.

It’s ready for you to hang on your wall. It has been securely wired and has small clear bumpers to keep it from moving around once you have hung it.
