40x30 inch original mixed media painting

I've been dreaming, sketching, and playing to find my way to creating work that feels very expansive to me. This piece reminds me of Spring. The movement in it is reminiscent of the March and April breezes that blow through Nebraska at that time every year.

“April Sky” is a beautifully layered original acrylic/mixed media painting. I’ve used several different things to achieve the depth that this piece has - acrylic paint, charcoal, pastels, colored pencil, and graphite. It was created on a 40x30 inch gallery wrapped canvas that is 1.5 inches deep. The painting continues around the edges.

It’s ready for you to hang on your wall. It has easy to hang hardware (adjustable Wall Buddies hangers) installed on the back and has small clear bumpers to keep it from moving around once you have hung it.
