“Wake Me When It Rains" is 16x12 inches on gallery wrapped canvas. This painting, along with her sister painting, are created using many different mediums. I love the layering that happens when different things like paint, pastel, and charcoal come together. In this piece I’ve also used a bit of an old receipt, dated 1927. The handwritten numbers peeking out of the paint give it so much character and add to the story of the painting.
